Our 3/8" Hunter Douglas Applause Single Cell Shades are our best value HunterDouglas brand cellular shades. The single cell design works as a great insulator keeping out the heat and the cold. The 3/8 inch single cells are light blocking, blocking out the direct sunlight while still being private. We have coordinating 3/8" single cell arch top shades if you have an arch window in the same room that needs to be treated with a blind too. Choose from two styles, the Applause Legends or Applause Casuelle.
The Applause single cell shades have such a warm and inviting fabric which is perfect for living rooms, dining rooms, dens, virtually anywhere that you need to block the harsh direct sunlight. All components are color cooridinated and they can be used alone or with draperies, valances or cornices. When lifted all the way in the up position they virtually disappear making them great in rooms with a view.

Color Accuracy Policy:
Although we do our best to make sure that the colors printed on our web site are accurate, actual colors will vary. In addition, subtle color differences and textures may not be fully appreciated on some systems due to differences in monitors and/or display cards. Due to the fact that our products are all custom made, and can't be returned, you need to be sure that you can live with any color variations that are possible from our scanning of the actual samples. If an exact color match is required, then please request a sample before placing your order. Once you receive your sample, keep in mind that all samples may still have minimal color variations as stated by the manufacturers.
Also, most of our products use Color Coordinated Components. Color Coordinated means similar colors but not necessarily the same exact color. An exact match in color is not always possible for the components of the blind/shade. The color that best coordinates with the product's slat/fabric color will be chosen for use on the components. All components will not necessarily be of the same exact coordinated color. Some examples of color coordinated component would be ladder strings, lift cords, tilter mechanisms, bottom rails, tassels, etc.

Hunter Douglas Window Fashions Lifetime Limited Warranty
Hunter Douglas Inc. warrants that its Hunter Douglas brand window fashion products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for as long as the original retail purchaser owns the product (or as otherwise set forth below*), PROVIDED THAT (1) such products were properly installed in residential dwellings; and (2) such products were made or assembled exclusively from Hunter Douglas materials and components.
The obligation of Hunter Douglas and its licensed fabricators/distributors is limited to repair or replacement of the window fashion product or components found to be defective and excludes shipping charges and costs of removal and reinstallation. Repairs will be made with like or similar parts.
To obtain warranty service, contact the dealer from whom you purchased the product. Your dealer will work with its licensed Hunter Douglas fabricator/distributor to promptly repair or replace any defective parts or components without charge. If you require further assistance, contact Hunter Douglas at the address or telephone number listed below. Warranty claims must be accompanied by proof of purchase, as well as details regarding the nature of the problem, location of the product, etc.
This warranty does not cover any conditions or damages resulting from accidents, alterations, misuse, abuse, exposure to the elements, excessive humidity, fading or discoloration over time (with the exception of Hunter Douglas Alternative Wood Blinds which are warranted against fading or discoloration of the slats, valances and bottom rails under normal conditions), or failure to follow our instructions with respect to measurement, installation, cleaning or maintenance. This warranty also does not cover any condition or damage resulting from removal of the product or reinstallation in the same or another window or application.
This warranty does not apply to conditions caused by normal wear and tear upon the product.
THIS WARRANTY IS EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER OBLIGATIONS, LIABILITIES OR WARRANTIES. In no event shall Hunter Douglas or its licensed fabricators/distributors be liable or responsible for INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIALDAMAGES or for any other direct or indirect damage, loss, cost, expense or fee. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so this exclusion or limitation may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.

UPS or FedEx Ground Shipping:
This applies to all orders under 96 inches in width or length shipping to an address in the contiguous 48 states of the U.S. If it travels by UPS or FedEx then shipping is FREE! Please call us for shipping quotes outside the covered area. Excluding all Plantation Shutters, which incurrs a $130.00 flat shipping fee per manufacturer.
Oversize Products Shipping Fee:
If your package is 96 inches or over in width or length it will be shipped by common carrier (semi truck) from the nearest manufacturing facility to you. There will be a $60.00 oversize shipping charge for any order with products that are 96 inches or more in width or length. This charge is per manufacturer. Meaning if you order two oversized products and they are from two different manufacturers (two different brands) then there will be TWO $60 charges for a total of $120 shipping. But, if you have more than one product over 96 inches at it is from same manufacturer you will only pay one oversize fee. The fee is per order, not per blind. Excluding all Plantation Shutters, which incurrs a $130.00 flat shipping fee per manufacturer.
