All About Vertical Blinds

Our first class of vertical blinds are the most economical; Smooth PVC Verticals.

They come in a great range of whites, off-whites, grays and hints of blues or greens.

Each vane of our vertical blinds are a standard size of 3.5” wide. Also, each vane is curved for complete privacy and light blocking while in the closed position.

They are perfect for French doors, large bay windows or sliding glass doors. Even normal sized windows, too!

Our vertical blind tracks (for ALL types of vertical blinds) are top of the line and made for easy operation. The slats can be tilted open to varying degrees giving you the choice of how much privacy and light you do or do not want let in. These vertical blinds are also very energy efficient, keeping your house cool in the summer and warm in the winter. The carriers are all self-aligning and are protected inside the heavy duty headrail.

Two different valances are available with this group of vertical blinds; Regular or Delux.

Standard valances for our vertical blinds are very clean and simple. They will match your slat color of choice exactly, giving the vertical blinds a nicely finished look.

Our Deluxe valance stands out a bit more in color but still offers that same clean and finished style.

Embossed Doverwood Faux Verticals Group A

Our next class of vertical blinds are Embossed Doverwood Faux Verticals Group A and are a great alternative to our PVC vertical blinds. They offer your home a look of real wood and are thicker than our PVC verticals. This class of Embossed Doverwood Faux verticals also coordinate with our 2” Doverwood Embossed Faux wood Blinds! This way, you can have the same color and look on both your windows and doors!

Since our Embossed Doverwood Verticals are a faux wood, they are immune to blinds and shades hazards like humidity and/or moisture because they are not real wood. These vertical blinds will not warp, crack or split!

Cleaning these vertical blinds are also a snap. A duster, damp cloth or vacuum will do the job.

This class, too, of vertical blinds offers either a standard or Deluxe valance, motorized tilt, and the tension pulley.

These Free Hang Fabric verticals are very much like having draperies in your home because they are light filtering. Meaning, during the day, the free hang fabric verticals will not blackout a room that you’d like to still have light.

They will keep rooms darker, contain either the heat or air conditioning, and who doesn’t want more insulation? On a hot or cold day, if you rotate the slats open you can actually feel all the heat or cold the PVC back vertical blinds were holding at bay. These PVC back fabric verticals are also great for rooms with a tv since they will block the glare of your windows or doors.

Our vertical blind tracks are top of the line making them very easy to operate. You can order them with different stacking options such as one way draws, with slats stacking all on one side or split draws, with the slats splitting from the middle and stacking on each side basically like most draperies do. The slats can be rotated in many different directions to adjust the light in the room or your privacy.

With all of our vertical blinds, you will automatically be sent a Child Safe Tension Pulley that is perfect for households with children or pets that may get tangled in the vertical blind’s chain tilt. This pulley keeps the chain taught so there is no risk of strangulation.

Our vertical blinds also offer a Motorized Tilt that will tilt open or tilt closed the slats. The motor will not fully open the vertical blinds to one side or the other. A remote control can be ordered as well for the Motorized Tilt option for a surcharge. In most cases this is an Infrared control only which has a remote control and it operates your vertical blind from up to 50’ from the receiver eye. You can operate a number of grouped vertical blinds together or up to 3 vertical blinds individually. You would operate all vertical blinds simultaneously with Select All channel. The motors and the batteries are concealed inside all head rails. These are a battery powered motorization. A remote control is ordered for an extra charge. A satellite eye can be ordered too if you have some sort of fabric valance or cornice covering the infrared eye so that the eye can read the signal. The satellite eye will extend out and around your fabric valance or cornice.
