The Design Perspective
Window shadings are one of the newest alternatives in window treatments. They offer the formal look of beautiful sheers and draperies without all of the fuss. They can also have a more casual feel when used with the right furniture and accessories. They are made of a sheer fabric with opaque horizontal louvers, which can be ordered in different vane sizes, inside of the sheer fabric which gives you the versatility and function of a wood blind with a much softer look and feel. When the louvers are rotated open you can see through the sheer fabric while still giving you some degree of privacy.

The Function & Installation Perspective
These shadings offer all the great functionality as our horizontal blinds but offer much more beautiful styling. When the soft opaque vanes are rotated open they still have a thin sheer facing that gives the shading a slight bit of opacity to diffuse light and offer a little privacy.
Installation is even easier than our horizontal blinds (and that's real easy). It only needs one screw per bracket with most shades requiring only two brackets. Estimated time of installation is approximately 2 minutes for each shading. Happy hanging!
