The Design Perspective
Sliding panels have given us a whole new solution to vertical blinds. They give warmth and beauty to any room. Their unique styling are a welcome addition to any home. Sliding panels are generally best suited for windows that slide to the side or on sliding glass doors.
|
The Function & Installation Perspective
Our sliding panels use the same basic type of headrail as a vertical blind in a sense that the panels are drawn to one side or the other however, these panels are much wider than the vanes of a vertical blind. Although they look beautiful, make sure that you're aware of the wide stacking area and the thick headrail which is needed for all the panels to bypass each other.
Installation is a little trickier than most products. The average installation time for a 6' sliding glass door is about 30 minutes. With that said, once you get them hung get ready for all the compliments from the neighbors. You're going to love them! Happy hanging and enjoy.

Customer Testimonials
|
| My sheerwave panels were delivered promptly. I ordered 2 sets, opening oppositely, for the two sliding doors in my living room. The sliding panels were in great condition. Panels were rolled up in reels to prevent wrinkles. Tiny wrinkles straightened out after they were hung. Installation was easy except that I JUST had enough depth space for the track up top. Since I had 4 panels, not 3 or less, I think the directions said you had to have over 2 in of extra depth on the top where you attach this single track piece. This is because there's snap and lock hardware included that needs room for outward rotation (against the back/door side). Then it snaps and clamps the track piece in, leaving that free space open in the back (not visible of course). If you don't have a deep sliding door, you may need only 3 panels, so installation will be easier. 4 panels look nice, but the # of panels also depends on how wide your doors are (mine were 8 ft each). They are pretty sheer, so you can see through them fairly well during the day. But when closed, they definitely keep out the sun's heat! I'm very happy and would recommend them. Now the only thing is putting new trim around our door. Thank you! | | Excellent,
-easy to order -shipped when promised -good price
Product is of excellent quality and measurements fit my windows exactly. The sliding pannels were easy to install and are of much better quality than some a friend of mine had installed by a designer. Also ordered Roman shades for smaller adjacent windows with matching bamboo and the entire project looks awesome
