The Design Perspective
Roman Shades have been around for many years. They are available in many different fabrics making them perfect for any room. You can choose from formal traditional fabrics to our more classic casual fabrics. The Flat Roman version gives you a more casual feel while the soft folds of the hobbled tear drop style creates a more dramatic formal look. A blackout liner can be added which is best if the roman shades are going to be used in a bedroom.
The Function & Installation Perspective
Although these shades must be raised or lowered with the cord lock mechanism to gain any view they are still one of the most beautiful window shades you can find for your windows. If you're interested in having some sort of view to the outdoors but need a little privacy then you may want to consider our Horizontal Shadings. The Horizontal Shadings have a similar stylish look but offers the ability to not only lift and lower like a roman shade but the vanes can also be rotated to offer a view to the outdoors.
